While attending the meeting, Nicki met with congressional staff from the offices of Senators Ted Budd and Thom Tillis and Congresswoman Alma Adams to request support for the Childhood Disability Benefits Fairness Act. This important legislation aims to eliminate unnecessary barriers to vital benefits for people with lifelong disabilities. JAH is honored to have Nicki represent the firm as a member of the SNA, a nationwide cohort of special needs law attorneys who support people with disabilities and their families to lead lives of dignity and purpose through expert legal planning and advocacy.
