Holly Norvell has spent over fifteen years advising clients on sophisticated estate planning techniques to preserve family wealth for multiple generations. 

Ms. Norvell has extensive experience with designing and implementing wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, marital property agreements, shareholder agreements, limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, and charitable gifting techniques.  She works on judicial and nonjudicial modification and reformation of trusts and advises charitable organizations including private foundations and public charities. Ms. Norvell also probates estates and assists business owners with federal and state income, estate, and gift tax planning and business succession planning.

Ms. Norvell is passionate about her profession and serving her clients. She has earned a reputation for her vast knowledge and expertise within her practice, as well as her ability to develop relationships with multi-generational families.

  • Advise high net worth clients on sophisticated estate planning techniques to preserve and steward family wealth for multiple generations using wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, marital property agreements, limited liability companies, partnerships, and charitable gifting techniques
  • Counsel clients on federal and state income, estate, gift and generation-skipping tax benefits and risks of proposed transactions
  • Handle federal tax audits, appeals and U.S. Tax Court cases on income, estate and gift tax issues
  • Assist business owners with business succession opportunities by drafting and interpreting shareholder agreements, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, employment agreements, and salary continuation agreements
  • Advise charitable organizations, including private foundations, publicly supported organizations and endowments, in matters of formation, application for exemption, governance, succession planning and tax counsel
  • Experience with judicial and nonjudicial reformations of trusts, including decanting 
  • Probate and administer estates, fund testamentary trusts, file federal and state estate and gift tax returns, and implement post-mortem planning
  • Represent parties in contested estate cases
