Amy focuses her practice on environmental matters.  With over 17 years of experience, her practice spans both the transactional, advisory, and litigation aspects of all media in environmental law.  Her representation of clients includes: compliance related matters dealing with all aspects of environmental regulation; defense of clients cited or investigated for environmental regulation infringements; development and planning review for potential land acquisition and development projects related to brownfields or contaminated property acquisition, cleanup and reuse; guidance and representation related to involvement in voluntary cleanup activities and programs; advisement and representation in application for or contest of environmental permitting activities; as well as review of environmental property assessments in relation to potential property acquisition and site assessments.   

Prior to joining the firm Amy practiced in Dallas, Texas.  Her practice focused on issues related to the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permits (NPDES) as well as other local, state and federal environmental regulations.  Amy also has experience as a municipal prosecutor with the City of Dallas where she obtained grant funding to establish the Dallas Environmental Enforcement Program and supervised the program for three years.
